Wix SEO Checker

Paste a page address and see what is wrong with it. Built from a real audit of this site, where the same checks found two title tags and two canonical links on all 219 URLs.

Checks one page. Free, no sign-up, results shown straight away.

Why these checks

Every rule here came from a real defect

This is not a generic checklist. Each check exists because it caught something on a live site. The duplicate-tag rule is the clearest example: Wix injects its own title and canonical on top of the ones a page already renders, so a site can look correct in the editor and ship two of each to Google. On this domain that affected every single URL, and it was invisible until we counted tags instead of reading the first one.

The response-time check is there for the same reason. Google's guidance for a good LCP is under 800 ms to first byte; most Wix sites we measure are well over it, and no amount of image optimisation compensates.

About this tool

What does this Wix SEO checker actually test?

It fetches one page and reports the things that most often go wrong on Wix sites: duplicate title and canonical tags, missing or over-length meta descriptions, how many H1 headings the page has, whether social share tags are present or duplicated, what structured data is on the page, whether the page is set to noindex, images missing alt text, and how long the server takes to send the first byte.

Why does my Wix site have two title tags?

Wix injects its own SEO tags into every page from a site-wide pattern, on top of whatever the page already renders. When a page sets its own title, you end up with two — and the injected one is usually a generic section name like "Blog | Your Site". Google may use either. It is fixable through the site SEO pattern settings rather than by editing the page, and this checker flags it specifically because it is invisible if you only read the first tag.

Does this work on non-Wix websites?

Yes. Every check except the Wix tag-injection one applies to any website. The tool detects whether the page is built on Wix and only runs the Wix-specific check when it is.

Is a good score enough to rank?

No, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise. These checks cover on-page technical quality, which is necessary but not sufficient. Ranking also depends on whether Google considers the domain worth crawling, which comes from links and reputation, and on whether the page matches what people actually search for. A page can score 100 here and still sit on page four.

Do you store the URLs people check?

The page is fetched, parsed and the results returned to your browser. Nothing is saved and no sign-up is required.

Fixed a few and still not ranking?

On-page problems are the easy half. If Google is not indexing your pages at all, the cause is usually somewhere else entirely. Send us the URL and we will tell you which it is.
