1. Who we are

Charu Solutions ("we", "us") designs and builds websites, software and AI systems for businesses. We are responsible for the personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry

Your first and last name, work email, company, phone number, the service you are interested in and what you tell us about your project. We use this to reply to you, prepare a proposal and keep a record of our conversation.

When you book a call

Your name, email, phone number and anything you add to the booking form, along with the date and time you pick. We use this to schedule the call and send confirmations and reminders. If a booking is paid online, payment goes through Wix's checkout and its payment providers. We never see your full card details.

When you message or call us

Whatever you choose to share by WhatsApp, email or phone. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy covers messages sent through it.

When you use our free tools

Only the web address you enter. Our server fetches that address to run the check and shows you the result. We do not ask who you are, and we do not keep the address or the result once the check has run.

When you browse the site

Like any website, ours receives technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the site that referred you. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and keep it secure. If analytics are on (see below), Google Analytics and Wix's own analytics also record how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as health, financial or government ID details, and we do not make automated decisions about you. Please do not send us any.

3. Cookies and analytics

The first time you visit, a banner asks whether analytics may run. How it behaves depends on where you are:

• In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off until you choose Accept.
• Everywhere else, including India, Google Analytics runs by default, and choosing "Reject non-essential" turns it off.
• Wix's own analytics stay off everywhere until you make a choice.

You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings. There is also a "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page. We do not use advertising or remarketing tags on this site.

4. Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job listed:

• Wix.com hosts this website and stores enquiries, bookings and contact records. It also sends booking confirmation emails.
• Google provides Google Analytics (only when analytics are on) and the fonts this site uses. Fonts load from Google's servers, which see your IP address.
• Meta runs WhatsApp, which handles messages you send us there.
• Our team. Only the people working on your enquiry or project see it.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

5. Where your data is stored

Wix and Google run their services from data centres in several countries, including outside India, such as the United States and the European Union. Both apply contractual and technical safeguards to data they process for us.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiries and bookings that do not become projects: up to two years after our last contact with you, then deleted.
• Client projects: for the length of the work, then as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Analytics: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, which is no more than 14 months.
• Free tool checks: not kept at all.

7. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it,
• correct or complete anything that is wrong,
• delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it,
• withdraw a consent you gave, such as for analytics, at any time.

In India, you can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to. In the EU and the UK, you can also object to or restrict how we use your data, ask for a copy in a portable format, and complain to your data protection authority.

To make a request, email Ankiit.team@charusolutions.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We reply within 30 days.

8. Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every complaint within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

9. Children

This website is for businesses and is not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, hosted on Wix's secured infrastructure, and only the people who need your data can see it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

11. Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. Questions about this policy go to Ankiit.team@charusolutions.com. The terms of use cover the rest of how this site may be used.
