What a Wix Studio build should actually deliver
Wix Studio can produce a genuinely fast, accessible, well-structured site. It can also produce a slow, bloated one. The platform is rarely the deciding factor — the build decisions are.
After 271 completed projects, here is the standard we hold a build to, and what you should expect from anyone building yours.

It loads fast on a mid-range phone
Not on a desktop with fibre. Most Indian traffic arrives on a mid-range Android device on a variable connection, and that is the condition the site has to be good under.
In practice: images sized and compressed properly rather than uploaded at full resolution, fonts subset and preloaded, and no animation library pulled in to do what CSS already does. We measure against real user data, not a single lab score taken on a fast laptop.
It is accessible because it was built that way
Accessibility retrofitted before an audit is expensive and usually incomplete. Built in from the start it costs almost nothing: real colour contrast, labels on every input, keyboard navigation that works, headings in a sensible order.
This is commercial as well as ethical — larger clients and public-sector buyers increasingly require it in procurement. It is why we hold the Wix Accessibility credential and build every project to WCAG 2.2 AA.
The client can edit it without calling us
A build that requires the agency for every content change has a dependency designed into it. Content should live in a CMS collection with clear fields, so new products, projects, posts or team members can be added by the people who own that content.
If adding a new page to your own website requires a developer, something was built wrong.
It is structured for search from the first page
Every page needs a unique title and description, a sensible URL, and structured data describing what it is. Trivial while building; tedious to retrofit across fifty pages later.
The most common problem we inherit is a site where every page shares one title, or where dynamic pages inherit a parent title and are effectively invisible to search as duplicates. Fixing that is usually the single biggest win available — see what we do on the SEO side.
What does a Wix Studio site cost?
It depends far more on scope than on platform. A brochure site with a handful of pages is a different job from an eCommerce build with a catalogue, payments and order operations. The honest answer is that anyone quoting before understanding your scope is guessing.
Questions worth asking any Wix Studio partner
What is the mobile page speed on a mid-range device, and how are you measuring it?
Which parts of the site can I edit without you?
How are titles and descriptions handled on dynamic pages?
Does the build meet WCAG 2.2 AA, and can you show me?
What happens if I want to leave — what do I own?
The answers tell you quickly whether you are buying a considered build or a template with your logo on it.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Wix Studio website cost?
It depends far more on scope than on platform. A brochure site with a handful of pages is a different job from an ecommerce build with a catalogue, payments and order operations. Our marketplace listings start from $149 for a mobile site and $449 for an advanced build, and we scope properly before quoting.
Is Wix Studio good for SEO?
Yes, when built properly. Wix Studio gives you full control over titles, descriptions, URLs, structured data and page speed. The platform is rarely what holds a site back — shared titles across pages, unoptimised images and dynamic pages inheriting a parent title are, and all three are build decisions rather than platform limits.
Can I edit a Wix Studio site myself after launch?
Yes, and you should insist on it. Content belongs in CMS collections with clear fields so products, projects, posts and team members can be added by the people who own that content. If adding a page to your own website requires a developer, something was built wrong.
How long does a Wix Studio build take?
A straightforward marketing site is typically three to six weeks from brief to launch. Ecommerce and custom application builds run longer. Content is the most common cause of delay on every project we run, not the build itself.
What happens if I want to move away later?
You keep your domain, your content and your Wix account. We do not build dependencies that require us, and we document the handover so another supplier can pick it up.
